The Johnny Cash Tribute – aka Kevin Lovatt and his band – have been confirmed as playing at Convoy in the Park at Donington Park on July 22-23.

Kevin’s performance as the Man in Black has received high praise – with die-hard Cash fans commenting that he sounds “more like Johnny Cash than Johnny Cash”. His band is capable of pulling off the wide range of styles and genres that Johnny Cash is known for.

Kevin and the band cover Cash from the early recordings right through to the later American recordings such as ‘God’s gonna cut you down’.

Indeed, Kevin’s version of that song has been heard in households across the country, as it was used in the Virgin TV series Kingdom as the walk on song for a character who is a cage fighter.
